"My Sweetest Sasha", is the second book in the "Meadows Shore" series by Eva Charles. You could easily read this book as a standalone. I loved the first book in this series, and in my opinion this one is even better. This book is incredibly well written and Eva Charles has crafted a wonderful story. I loved that Sophie and Max who were the hero and heroine from "A Wedding at Meadow Shore", were featured so much in this book and their story continued as well.
The characters portrayed in this book are both like-able and believable. Alexa is the heroine of this story and she is a smart, caring and beautiful woman. She has both a social work and law degree. Cole the hero of the story is a trauma surgeon who has a reputation that precedes him of him being a womanizer, arrogant and quite talented.
I loved that Cole and Alexa's romance developed and grew throughout the book. Although they have a rocky start to their relationship their friendship grows as does their connection and chemistry.
I loved that both Alexa and Cole have such strong family ties that are apparent throughout the book, and that their families are included so much within the story line.
Overall this book is a lovely read, and I cannot wait for more of the "Meadow Shore" series.
