I am a huge Chantal Fernando fan. I love the Wind Dragons MC series. This is the fourth book in the series, and whilst it could be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the books in consecutive order to get the most from the story.
This is an intense, emotional read. It is extremely well written with an engaging story line. The characters are interesting and believable. This is the second chance romance of Adam (Rake) and Bailey. Bailey broke Adam's heart as teenagers, when he believed she cheated on him, when the truth is much worse. Rake is a womanizer with a reputation he has rightfully earned. What's not to love an alpha pierced and tattooed bad boy, and a sweet loving mother. The banter is both humorous and entertaining.
Circumstances throw this pair back together again and old feelings and hurt resurface for the pair. They have an incredible chemistry that jumps off the page.
I loved how the previous couples from the series, appeared so much within the story line of this book, and their own stories continued as well.
This book has everything i look for in a great MC romance, a mixture of suspense, action, romance, angst and hot love scenes. This book has a wonderful plot and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
