When Holly Michaels, a fourth grade teacher, and the mayor's daughter, moves into the condo next to his, she intrigues him. But Holly doesn't want to get involved: Joe is worldly, gorgeous and way out of her league. The problem is, he doesn't think so. It comes as a shock to both couples that contrary to what each thought, they don't have all they need!

4 Stars

All I need is the fifth title in the Rockford Fire Department series, and features two couples at different points I their lives, endeavouring to find success, romance and a happy ever after.

Vanessa is Rockford's mayor and Chase is the Fire Chief.  This pair are like oil and water, and any relationship between them is forbidden, due to their respective roles.  As much as they rub each other the wrong way this pair are drawn together, their banter is witty and often argumentative.  Their connection and chemistry is full of heat and passion despite their very different personalities and ideals.

Holly is Vanessa's estranged daughter and she is drawn to fireman Joe, who also happens to be her neighbor.  Holly has trust issues and Joe's a bit of a player, so they have their work cut out for them to find a middle ground.  They may be opposites, and have a tendency to push each other away at every hurdle, but are inexplicably drawn back to each other.

This is a story of forgiveness, and learning to trust again.

For anyone who is familiar with previous titles and series' several familiar characters make an appearance within this story line.

Overall an engaging and entertaining story with a touch of intrigue and suspense, that kept me enthralled and turning pages.  I will look forward to future titles in the series.
