Covert Vengeance
is the second title in the Seals and CIA series but can easily be read as a
standalone. Kennedy L Mitchell is one of
my go to authors any time I want to dive into a romantic suspense and this
title does not disappoint. When a mission
goes wrong this pair are desperate for revenge and answers.
Tony is a Navy
SEAL who is grieving, broken, and lost.
His confidence has taken a bit of a battering, but he’s still a competitive,
determined, and protective alpha, who’s capable of getting the job done.
Elliot, is an
intelligent, fierce, strong resilient CIA operative. This heroine is also more than a little
crazy, and I loved that she’s so capable, and doesn’t need a man, that’s just a
bonus for her.
The chemistry and
attraction between this headstrong and complex pair is undeniable. Their banter
and interactions are fun, flirty, antagonistic, sarcastic, and steamy.
This title is full
of action, intrigue, suspense, and emotion and I was captivated from beginning to
end.
