Tin Queen is the sixth and final title in the Tin Gypsy series and whilst I was eager to read Emmett’s story, it’s also bittersweet that this engaging and entertaining series has concluded.

Emmett is a sexy and confident alpha, who is loyal, loving and a protector of those he holds dear.  He’s just as handy behind a keyboard as he is with a wrench. Now Nova is my kind of heroine, a force to be reckoned with.  She’s strong willed, intelligent, driven, determined, sassy and oh so secretive.

The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, with love scenes that are passionate and full of heat and steam.  This pair have both endured so much pain in their pasts, and I loved seeing a vulnerability to their characters, but also seeing them grow and evolve over the course of this title.

An epic conclusion to the series with strong themes of family, friendship, love, revenge, and forgiveness, with its fair share of drama, angst, emotion, steam, and secrets.

I look forward to seeing what Devney Perry writes next, as it’s sure to please!

Give Me a Reason is the first title in the Redemption Hills series featuring Eden and Trent.  Their story is opposites attract, forbidden workplace romance featuring a single dad.  It’s an emotional, and sexy read full of twists and turns with a fair amount of angst, action, and suspense.

Eden and Trent, both have pasts they are trying to overcome, and from the very beginning the attraction between this pair is undeniable, the sexual tension oozes from the page, with chemistry that is not only passionate, but incredibly intense.

Eden is a resilient, strong, and sweet teacher, looking for extra income and she’s a fish out of water when she finds herself in Trent’s club.  Trent on the other hand is a complicated, conflicted and an endearing alpha hero with a dark and dangerous side, and an adorable and precocious young son.

I loved the side characters of Trent’s brother’s and can’t wait for more of this series. Whilst the plot is not only captivating and engaging, with themes of love, hope, redemption, and family, it’s the writing that is some of the best that I’ve read this year.

Tobias is a pitcher who has as big a reputation on the field as he does off the field.  To keep playing he needs to bolster his grades.  He’s bold and brash, arrogant, and cocky but also incredibly charming and quite sweet. He’s driven and determined to succeed and is incredibly disciplined when it comes to perfecting his craft, but not so disciplined when it comes to his studies.

Meyer is assigned to be Tobias’ tutor and is highly sought after as she’s extremely accomplished, intelligent, and fierce.  She has a complicated and hectic life but will do anything for those she cares for most.

Age of Ava is the fourth title in the Vested Interest, ABC Corp series, featuring Ava Callaghan.

Ava is strong, bold, intelligent, independent, and hardworking.  She’s driven and determined, and has a tough exterior, particularly when it comes to her role within the company, but also has a gentle heart and has been wounded in the past.

Hunter is a loner, who is used to relying only on himself. He a wanderer, and a wounded hero who has never quite felt like he belonged, and all his worldly belongings can fit into his truck.

The connection between this pair is undeniable, despite the ghost that haunt them from their past.  On the surface they don’t appear to have a lot in common but are inexplicably drawn to each other.

I quite enjoyed this addition to the series and look forward to the next title in the Vested Interest ABC Corp series.

All Night Long With a Cowboy is the second title in the Kittredge Ranch series.  This was my first time reading Caitlin Crews work, and I felt that you could easily read this title as a standalone.  Harriett and Jensen’s story is an opposites attract, slow burn romance.

Harriett is a quirky, unique and straight-laced librarian.  She’s passionate about her work and headstrong, and old fashioned.

Jensen is the son of a prominent ranching family, and hides his true personality and pain behind a playboy persona, and his antics cause many to underestimate his capabilities.

The beginning of this title was quite slow, and it took awhile for me to get into their story.  It was one that I picked up and put down several times, as I struggled to stay focused on the plot, and it was kind of off-putting the way in which Jensen was continually full named.

Although not my favorite cowboy romance, I look forward to reading future works by Caitlin Crew.

This title has drama, action, intrigue and a few unexpected twist and turns and the connection this pair shares is undeniable and I loved the friendship they forge, before taking their relationship further. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this story of family, friendship and community and look forward to the next addition to the series.
