The crumbs left at the end of this title have left me eager for the next installment in the series, and I will be eagerly awaiting Malik's story.

Nashville Assassins: Next Generation folks at Bellevue Bullies

Spiked by Love is the sixth title in the Bellvue Bullies series, but has ties in with the Assassins, and Nashville Assassins: Next Generation series’.  For anyone familiar with Toni’s work you will be familiar with the characters of Allison Titov and Asher Brooks as they have both appeared as side characters in previous books, most recently in Power Play and Dump and Chase.   Ally’s parents are Harper Allen and Jakob Titov who feature heavily in other titles and their own story was told in One Timer.  Asher’s parents are Fallon Parker and Lucas Brooks who appeared in Trying to Score, and his brother Aiden Brooks had his romance told in Dump and Chase.  

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Ally and Asher.  Ally is very like her father Jakob, and is driven strong and prideful.  Whereas Asher is a sexy, funny, charming and slightly nerdy hero.  He’s also slightly neurotic when it comes to love and romance.  His parents had a complicated relationship and the ramification are still being felt by their children.

This title runs concurrent to Power Play and if you want to read Posey’s story I would highly recommend doing so before reading Spiked by Love as there are several spoilers.

I love how all of Toni Aleo’s titles tie in together and with each addition we get to catch up with past characters, it’s like revisiting old friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed Spiked By Love and will be eagerly awaiting Toni’s next release.

A Royal Mistake is the second title in The Rooftop Crew series, featuring Sierra, Blanca’s best friend and roommate from the first title in the series My Bestie’s Ex.

Sierra and Adrian’s story is an emotional story, that is quit full of drama, but also quite fun and sexy, with strong themes of family and friendship throughout.

I’m generally not a huge fan of royal romances, but I this writing duo’s books are always fun and engaging.

Sierra had a difficult childhood, that’s left her struggling to form lasting relationships with men.  She’s a strong heroine who at times can come across as quite cold and stand-offish, but the more you progress into her story you begin to see it’s just a protective measure.

Adrian is a prince who has absolutely no desire to rule.  He’s sweet, charming and sexy, but keep his cards close to his chest, some that could have lasting ramifications.

I enjoyed seeing more of the interactions between the Rooftop Crew and look forward to future titles in this series.

Petra is shy, innocent and sweet.  She’s had a rough time of it, and although she is quite introverted and sometimes retreats into herself, she also has quite a sassy side and she’s incredibly resilient.

Rhino is an alpha, and although a little rough around the edges he has a kind heart.

The connection Petra and Rhino shares is quite sweet, yet also sexy.  Their banter is fun and engaging and the ending left me eager for the next instalment in this series.

Chute Yeah is the third title in the Valentine Boys series, featuring Banks Valentine and Candy Ray Sunshine.  It’s an engaging and entertaining enemies to lovers romance.  Candy and Banks have a history that began in high school.  Both are survivors, having survived horrific events in their teenage years.

Candy Ray Sunshine is sassy, yet down to earth, and resilient and strong.  Banks was quite the surprise to me.  As expected he was a protective alpha,  but not the stoic and serious man of the previous titles.  He’s quite flirty and fun, honest and fearless when it comes to being on a bull.

A humorous and heartfelt story of forgiveness, family and friendship and I cannot wait for the next instalment in The Valentine Boys series.

I fell in love with Kaylee Ryan's writing style with Unexpected Reality, and I've loved each and every addition to this series.  Much like many other readers I've been eagerly awaiting Kent's second chance romance and it didn't disappoint.

Kent is a tattoo covered alpha with a heart of gold.  Kenton craves the love, commitment and contentment his best friends have found with their other halves.  He's kind, caring and loving, and your heart just melts when you envision his interactions with his surrogate nieces and nephews.  A very protective and charming hero, who is patient yet determined to fight for what he wants.

Delaney is his perfect match, strong and resilient, yet sweet.  The chemistry this pair shares is undeniable despite the time they spent apart.

As with the previous titles in this series Unexpected Odds has strong themes of family and friendship and although a heartwarming read, has a few surprises and twists along the way to finding a happy ever after.

As sad as I am to see the end of this series, I look forward to seeing what Ms Ryan has in store for us next and possibly at some point in the future we may get the next generation of Unexpected Arrivals.
