Always Crew - Tijan

Always Crew, the all-new emotional and angsty finale of the Crew series by New York Times bestselling author Tijan is available now!

For the longest time, I was Bren Monroe.

I lived in Roussou, California.

I had no parents, no brother, but I had a crew.

Then things started to change.

I never planned for any of it.

I didn’t think I’d fall in love.

I didn’t think I’d have a relationship with my brother again.

I didn’t think that he’d come back.

Now I’m in Cain.

My crew is in college.

They’re growing, going through their own things.

And here I am, figuring out my life.

There’s always hurdles and obstacles to overcome.

That was never my hardship.

That was my regular.

But living? Being content? Being happy?

Those were my challenges now.

Everything was going well…

Until it wasn’t. Again.

Always crew is the conclusion to the Crew series.  I fell in love with these characters in Crew and Crew Princess, and couldn’t wait to see more of them, and Tijan did not disappoint.

Bren, Cross, Zelman and Jordan’s story is the perfect conclusion, it’s packed full of emotion, angst, and drama and the twists and turns just keep coming.

Just when I don’t think I can love these characters anymore, they become even more dynamic and multifaceted.  Bren in particular has evolved so much over the course of this series, and though she is flawed, she’s an incredibly complex, yet endearing and realistic character.

I loved that we got cameos of Aspen and Blaine from Rich Prick, and Channing from The Boy I Grew Up With, throughout the course of this title.

It’s a beautifully written story of loyalty, family and friendship, that I honestly didn’t want to put down.  As sad as I am to see the end of the Crew series, I cannot wait to see what Tijan will write next, and hopefully this quartet may appear as cameos in future titles.

Please, Bren,” Jordan whispered.

I sagged, hearing his plea.

If I didn’t stop, he’d start. I had to stop. I had to stop for him.

“We have to go. It’s done.” That was Cross, but he was the leader speaking now. “Get her in the truck.”

Jordan carried me over. Zellman hopped up and Jordan lifted me to him. I could’ve climbed up myself, but there was something about my crew doing this for me. Handling me. They needed to do this, and a part of me needed to let them.

I glanced back as Jordan was climbing up, coming behind us.

Cross was bent over the guy. He was talking to him. A second later, he pulled his phone out, punching some numbers. Then the phone was back in his pocket, and he was coming for the truck. His eyes held mine for a brief moment before he got behind the wheel.

Cross drove us back as Zellman and Jordan huddled on both sides of me.

My hands were still bleeding, but no one moved to cover them.

That felt fitting, for some reason.

Just let me bleed.

Drive Me Wild - Melanie Harlow

Drive Me Wild, an all-new sexy, opposites-attract romance with all the feels by USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is available now!

When Blair Beaufort literally crashes into Bellamy Creek wearing a ball gown and a tiara, I should have towed her car, said goodnight, and sent her packing.

I’m a mechanic, not a hotel manager. I've got enough on my plate trying to keep my shop from going under, my overbearing mother off my back, and my baseball team in contention for the league championship. I don’t have time for a former debutante with zero street smarts and a cash flow problem, even if she is crazy beautiful.

Problem is, she’s stranded in my small town, and I’m hiding a protective streak underneath my grumpy exterior that runs deep. So I offer her a place to stay and keep my hands to myself.

For exactly one night.

If only she weren't so gorgeous. So funny. So eager to please. She’s a disaster behind the wheel, but she drives me wild without even trying--at work, at home, in the back of my truck . . . I can’t get enough of the way she makes me feel.

But I know better than to think it can last. She wants a fairy tale, and I’m no prince.

So when it comes time for her to leave, there’s nothing I can do but let her go.

No matter how much it hurts to say goodbye.

Drive Me Wild is a sweet, sexy, small town romance set in the charming town of Bellamy Creek.

Blair is a sweet, kind, selfless dreamer, but also kind of naïve.  She was raised with money, and now that her family has hit hard times, she determined and driven to succeed on her own.

Griffin is a sexy, stubborn mechanic who is resistant to romance, due to demons from his past.  His gruff and grumpy exterior hides a big, sweet, and loving, yet damaged heart.

Their banter is witty, flirty and fun, and I adored the side characters, and hope that they will appear in future additions to the series.   The connection and chemistry between Blair and Griffin is undeniable, and their love scenes are incredibly hot and steamy.

If you’re like me and a fan of the Cloverleigh Farms series, you will love the cameos from familiar characters.

I will be eagerly awaiting Melanie Harlow’s next release.

Switching off the lights, I followed her out onto the sidewalk, locking the door behind us. “I need a quick shower and change of clothes. Want to come up with me?”

“Sure.”

I was following her up the stairs to my apartment, looking at her ass and wondering if she had sexual rules and how long it would take me to break them, when I realized she was still talking.

Shit, had she just asked me a question?

At the top of the stairs, she turned around and faced me. “So? Are you going to?”

I stood close. Ridiculously close. So close I could smell her—vanilla and lemon—and she could probably smell me—sweat and motor oil.

“Am I going to what?”I asked, looking at her lips.

She licked them. “Listen to me.”

“Oh. Yeah. I am.” But at that moment, I was pretty sure I was going to do something else to her too.

Suddenly she stepped back. “Good,”she said, her cheeks flushed pink. “On second thought, I think I’ll wait outside. I’m a little warm, and there’s a nice breeze.”

“Okay. I’ll be out in a few minutes.”

Nodding, she turned and descended the stairs so slowly, I wondered if she was dizzy. I watched her hand sliding along the wooden rail, thinking dirty thoughts.

On the landing, she pushed the door open and disappeared from view, but I still couldn’t breathe right.

What would she have done if I’d put my mouth on hers like I’d wanted to just now? Would she have kissed me back? Would she have welcomed my hands on her skin? Or would she have kneed me in the balls and told me to keep my filthy fingers to myself?

She wasn’t like any other girl I’d ever met, which was both the problem and the allure. I didn’t know how to read her.

But damn, I wanted her something fierce.

I took an ice cold shower, hoping it would help.

It didn’t.

Taunting Callum - Kristen Proby

Taunting Callum by Kristen Proby is now live!

From New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new stand-alone novel in her beloved Big Sky Series!

His Royal Highness Callum Wakefield lives a carefree, luxurious life. As the King of England's youngest son, and thus not the heir apparent, he has more freedom and less royal responsibilities. The one who hates him.

Aspen and Callum shared one incredible night together two years ago before he returned to his opulent life, subsequently forgetting all about her. Ego bruised and pride wounded, Aspen doesn't know why he's back. And she doesn't care. She refuses to fall for his charms again.

But Callum is determined to stay in Cunningham Falls and make it up to Aspen, no matter how long it takes. Because while she was out of sight, she was most certainly not out of mind.

Taunting Callum is the third title in the Big Sky Royals series featuring Callum and Aspen, two characters who have both appeared in the previous titles in the series.

Callum has a reputation as a ‘Playboy Prince’ and was quite different to what I expected after his portrayal in the previous titles.  He’s the youngest royal, and whilst driven and determined, he’s also sweet, sensitive, romantic and protective.  He’s also a complete alpha, and quite dominant when it counts.

Aspen didn’t have the easiest upbringing and has endured an unbelievable tragedy.  She’s sassy, sweet, resilient and strong and makes Callum work for her affections.

I thoroughly enjoyed this low angst, sweet and charming opposites attract romance.

Backup Plan - Emily Goodwin

Backup Plan by New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Emily Goodwin is now live!

When we were only kids, Sam Harris and I made a promise we'd marry each other if we were still single when we turned thirty. Well, my thirtieth birthday has come and gone and I'm still as single as ever.

And as far as I know, so is Sam.

But it's been ages since we've seen each other, and after what he did to me our senior year of college, I wouldn't put his ring on my finger even if he begged me to marry him. Never mind his devilish good looks. Or the fact that the playboy partier is a doctor now.

Nope, I'm sticking to my guns with this, and when I go back to my hometown of Silver Ridge for the first time in years, I won't pay him the slightest bit of attention. Well...until he convinces me to go out for drinks to catch up. I knew it was a bad idea the moment I agreed to it.

And then he brings up our childhood promise.

It might be fun and games to him, but it's not to me. Because as much a I don't want to admit it, Sam has always been my first choice. And I don't want to be nothing more than his backup plan.

Backup Plan is the first book in the Boys of Silver Ridge series, and was my first time reading Emily Goodwin’s writing, and it didn’t disappoint.   This title is a slow burn story with strong themes of family and friends, with plenty of heat and heart.

Sam and Chloe were childhood friends who grew apart, and years later reconnect when they are both back in Silver Ridge.  Chloe is quite a relatable character.  She’s does what she wants, and looks how she wants and doesn’t really care what other’s think.  She’s quirky, fun, nerdy and quite resilient.   Whereas Sam is a sexy, personable, charismatic anesthesiologist.

Their story ends in a cliffhanger, and I’m looking forward to future titles in the Silver Ridge series.

The Reality of Everything - Rebecca Yarros

THE REALITY OF EVERYTHING (Flight & Glory #5) by Rebecca Yarros

Release Date: August 24th

Two years after the man she loved was killed in Afghanistan, Morgan Bartley is trying to put the pieces of her life back together. The reno on her dilapidated beach house in the Outer Banks might be just the distraction she needs to keep her debilitating anxiety attacks at bay and begin to heal her heart...if she can ignore the ridiculously handsome guy next door.

At twenty-eight, single-dad Jackson Montgomery’s life revolves around his five-year-old daughter and his job as a search-and-rescue pilot for the coast guard. He’s no stranger to saving a damsel in distress, and though his gorgeous new neighbor is clearly in distress, she’s no damsel. She’s stubborn as hell with walls a mile thick, and the dog tags hanging from her rearview mirror give him a pretty good clue as to why.

It doesn’t matter that their attraction is undeniable—she swore she’d never fall for another pilot, let alone a military man. There are some wounds time can’t heal, and some fears too consuming to conquer.

She’s a barely breathing heartbreak on the edge of recovery.

He’s a crash waiting to happen.

Together they could have it all...if they can endure the coming storm.

The Reality of Everything is the fifth title in the Flight and Glory series, but can easily be read as a standalone if you don’t mind a few spoilers from the previous titles.

Rebecca Yarros knocked it out of the park with this book.   It will take you through an emotional wringer. Morgan’s story is confronting, sad, and raw but also heartwarming and uplifting.  You should be prepared that there will be tears.

Morgan is suffering and grieving the loss of the man she loved.  She’s struggling with the hurt pain and sadness of her loss, and moves to a new town to try and start over.  She’s incredibly strong and resilient and the character development is phenomenal.  She’s endearing, and you can’t help but feel all her emotions and crave a happy ending for all she has endured.

Jackson otherwise known as Jax, is a single father to a precious and adorable little girl named Finley.  He’s one of those book boyfriends who is nearly perfect.  He’s sensitive, sweet, and sexy alpha, who is the perfect blend of patient yet also determined when it comes to going after what he wants. In this case what he desires the most is Morgan’s heart.

Although this pair are flawed, they are perfect for each other.

The Reality of Everything is an emotional story of learning to live again after loss, and I can’t recommend this title enough.
