Tempted By Love is the first title in The Steele’s at Silver Island, featuring Jock and Daphne.  Jock and Daphne’s story is one of love, hope, acceptance, family, friendship and community.  Both this hero and heroine have baggage from their previous relationships, and are doing their best to rebuild their lives.

Jock has endured several tragic losses, on top of that the relationship with his twin brother and family was damaged.  He’s a complex character riddled with grief, fear and guilt.

Daphne is a single mother, to an adorable and loving little girl named Hadley.  She’s hard working, compassionate, caring and curvy.

There were quite a few characters who have appeared in previous titles that appeared in Tempted by Love as well as a cast of new characters who’s stories I cannot wait to experience.

Looking to Score is the first book in Alley Ciz’s new U of J world.  I was a little surprised when Alley announced this series, as I’ve been quite enjoying her BTU Alumni series, but I’ve got to say this is my favorite title of hers to date. 

The hero and heroine of this title are endearing and I adored their witty, fun and flirtatious banter and playful interactions.  The pull between this pair is undeniable and as much as they fight their connection they inevitably end up in each other’s path.

The hero Mason ‘Casanova’ Nova is a tight end for the U of J football team.  He’s driven and dedicated to going after what he wants.  He’s charismatic, cocky and charming.

The heroine is fun, loyal, hardworking, resilient and sweet.

They’ve both been burned in the past and with the way this title ends I’m sure it’s only the tip of the iceberg with what has been revealed.

I highly recommend this title to anyone who enjoys a college sports romance, and I will be eagerly awaiting to the next addition to this series.

Say It Ain’t So is the ninth title in the Swat Generations 2.0 series, and I would say it’s my favorite to date.  Sammy and Hastings story is and emotional romantic suspense, with strong themes of family and friendship. 

I loved Sammy’s parents story in Execution Style so I was eager to read his story and it didn’t disappoint.  Sammy is a sweet, charming, protective and confident alpha, who is not afraid to admit his mistakes.  I love that his acceptance of Hastings quirks and all.

Hastings hasn’t had an easy life which has left her quite guarded.  Despite the fact that she has Tourette’s, and struggles with her self-confidence she is quite fierce and sassy.  I love that she wasn’t perfect, and could be a tad awkward at times, it just made for a more realistic and relatable heroine.

Sammy and Hasting’s meet cute was quite unexpected and unique.  They have an instant connection and undeniable chemistry.  I liked that there was time between their introduction and when they begin a relationship, it felt more realistic than some of the previous titles.   

The banter this pair shares is quite fun and flirtatious.

There are moments in this book that are sure to pull at your heartstrings.  I felt heartbroken for Hastings, but loved how Lani Lynn Vale tied everything together in the end.  I will be eagerly awaiting her next release.

Show Stopper is the first title in the Chicago First Responders series.  It’s an engaging and entertaining, light hearted, humorous and sexy read that I highly recommend .

Marco Rossi is the brother to Skye who featured in Hard Work in the Cook Brothers series.  He’s a loyal, charming and attentive lieutenant in the Fire Department.  Marco might be a gentleman, but knows what he wants, he isn’t afraid to go after it.

Renee is a sassy, fierce, strong, independent heroine.  She’s a driven and successful realtor who has been burned in the past and is quite guarded when it comes to men, particularly those in uniform. 

The banter this pair shares is witty, fun and flirtatious.  Their chemistry is undeniable and their connection quite intense. Overall a fun and flirty read with one liners, that are sure to leave you with a smile upon your face.

Fearless is Austin and Makenna’s story.   If you’re familiar with Chelle Bliss’ previous work you will be familiar with the Gallo family, and Pike, Austin’s older brother who appears in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series.

Makenna is the daughter of Mark and Charlie Dixson, and as you’d expect she’s feisty, strong, smart, sassy and tough.

I loved this glimpse into Austin as an adult, and he’s just as sweet, charming, and protective as the rest of the Gallo men.

Their banter is fun, flirty and witty and I thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse into the Salvation Society world.
