Sweet Sexy Heart is the eight title in The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls series, and it’s a heart-warming, low angst, small town romance.

Each member of the Montgomery family has captured my interest, they are all endearing yet completely unique, and I was eager to read Amber’s story and it didn’t disappoint.

Amber is a bookstore owner who lives a quiet, careful life.  She’s a hopeless romantic, who craves a happy ever after like several of her siblings have found but’s she’s quite reserved and doesn’t give her trust easily.  I was drawn to her caring, compassionate, kind, thoughtful and sweet personality, and so far she’d have to be my favourite of the Montgomery sisters.

Dash is a former football star, turned motivational speaker and author.  He’s driven, determined, charming and confident, and quite different to the traditional jock stereotype.  He is loyal, loving and has a big heart and will do anything for those he holds dear.

The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, with hot and steamy love scenes.

For those familiar with Melissa’s work, several characters make cameo appearances throughout.

I look forward to the next addition to this series.

Playing With Words is the second title in the Boggy Creek Valley series, and I was captivated from beginning to end.  I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves a small-town romance with interconnected titles.

This title features Greer and Hudson, a match made in heaven.  She’s a bookshop owner, and he’s a best-selling author.  Greer is such a fun and relatable heroine, who is kind of quirky and loves everything about the written word.  She tends to get tongue tied, that leads to humorous results, but is also sweet, kind, and passionate.  Hudson is a charming, sexy, and protective hero who you can’t help but love.

The chemistry between this pair oozes off the page and I loved their witty and playful banter.

Overall a sweet, sexy and heartfelt romance, and I can’t wait for the next addition to this series.
