I will start by saying I am a huge Bink Cummings fan. She has a style of writing that draws you into the story and you can't put it down until it's finished and you crave the next installment.
This was definelty the case with Hopelessly Shattered. This is a story of heartbreak, love and it has some angst as well. I loved the heroine of this book Kat, she's so fiercely independent, strong and at times she lacks a filter and says exactly what she thinks. Overall she is an incredibly endearing, like-able and relate-able character.
This book has quite a few twists and turns. It kept me completely enthralled, and I couldn't put it down, I had to just keep turning the pages on my kindle as I frantically read to find out what was going to happen next. I don't want to say too much about the plot as that would reveal too much of the story, lets just say that Kat's life becomes very complex after she answers an email, and her life as she knows it will be forever changed.
This book has a wonderful cast of characters. They are complex and interesting and considering this is an MC romance, I found them to be quite unique for this genre. Kade and Brent, are hot alphas I cannot wait to see where the story leads them next. This book is highly emotive, and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotional highs and lows as you follow Kat's story. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!!
