Who doesn't love a rock star romance, or a second chance romance? Kade is the story of the romance of Ainsley and Kade. This story line is filled with drama, angst and romance. The hero and heroine are incredibly complex, endearing and Ainsley is quite relateable.
Kade is your typical hot rock star and he has the ego to match. He's living the dream, doing what he loves and making money from it. He's an incredibly impatient man, so used to getting what he wants when he wants it. He's not all bad he's quite a damaged hero, with ghosts from his past that haunt him. He is lacking affection, attention, love and stability in his life and he craves them. Although he's looking in the wrong place with groupies. All they want is the fantasy of sleeping with a rock star. Although he's quite happy to avail them of this quest.
Ainsley is Kade's opposite, she's a single mother, a house wife, a divorcee. She has a baggage load of insecurities and trust issues from her marriage. She had the tendency to be a little frustrating at times.
The romance between Ainsley and Kade is fast paced and a bit of a whirlwind, with a roller coaster of highs and lows along the way. The love scenes these two share are incredibly hot and steamy. Even with all the pushing and pulling away that ensues between this pair, I really enjoyed their story. I loved the epilogue and hope that we may get to see more of the rockers with their own stories in the future.
