It’s an even worse idea to get involved with him since he’s her manwhore roommate...and she’s seen him in action. If they give into their undeniable attraction, is it just a train wreck waiting to happen? Or will their desire fuel a chance at real love?If you love steamy romance, be sure to check out the fourth standalone in the Giving You series.

4.5 Stars

The Ground Beneath Our Feet, was my first time reading Leslie McAdam's work. It will definitely be reading her work in the future.

This story is full of emotion. I really adored both the hero and heroine of this story. Jessica is a character that I can easily relate to and connect with. I'm sure there are many females who can identify with a curvy character who struggles with her weight, their relationship with food and their overall self-esteem and self worth. I loved her journey of self discovery and acceptance.

Mikey the hero is such a unique, intriguing and complex character. He's kind, sweet, charming and incredibly sexy. I loved him right from the very beginning.

This pair have an amazing chemistry and connection. I loved watching this pair struggle with their demons, and seeing their inner strength come to the fore front. This pair are incredibly realistic, flawed, and imperfect which is why they are so like-able and relate-able.

This is really an amazing, enjoyable and entertaining read. A great blend of romance, angst and humor. I look forward to reading more from Ms McAdam in the future.

Leslie McAdam is a California girl who loves romance, Little Dude, and well-defined abs. She lives in a drafty old farmhouse on a small orange tree farm in Southern California with her husband and two small children. Leslie always encourages her kids to be themselves – even if it means letting her daughter wear leopard print from head to toe. An avid reader from a young age, she will always trade watching TV for reading a book, unless it’s Top Gear. Or football. Leslie is employed by day but spends her nights writing about the men you fantasize about. She’s unapologetically sarcastic and notoriously terrible at comma placement (that’s what editors are for!). Always up for a laugh, Leslie tries to see humor in all things. When she’s not in the writing cave you’ll find her fangirling over Beck, camping with her family, or mixing up oil paints to depict her love of outdoors on canvas.
