The Cleanup - Megan Green - Release Blitz & Review

Title: The Cleanup
Series: Washington Rampage #2
Author: Megan Green
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: June 28, 2018

Boy meets girl.
Boy screws girl.
Girl gets knocked up.

That was my story with Brandon Jeffers, power hitter for the Washington Rampage and baseball’s biggest bad boy. He came into my life like a line drive to the face, and he left without looking back.

It’s okay though, because I’m determined to raise this baby on my own. I mean, women for centuries have navigated parenthood alone…why should I be any different?

But when the major league star shows up on my doorstep making promises I know he can't keep, my defenses go up and my expectations stay low.

Brandon says he can clean up his act…

I’ll believe it when I see it.

3.5 Stars

The Cleanup is the second title in the Washington Rampage series.

Whilst I found the first title to be a tad too slow paced for my liking, I really quite enjoyed Brandon and Liv's story.

The Cleanup is a sweet, heartwarming, yet at times angst ridden and heartbreaking sports romance.

This pair are both quite engaging.  Brandon is fun, and flirty whilst Liv is sassy, strong, stubborn and independent.  Brandon is quite charismatic, and I enjoyed the growth and development of his character that occurred over the course of this title.

At times the drama and angst was a bit repetitive for me, but overall it's an engaging read.

For anyone who is familiar with the first title in he series The Off-Season, several characters reappear in this title as well.  There is a great deal more baseball in this title than in the off-season that I was pleased to see.
