Puck Performance is the fourth addition to the BTU Alumni series featuring Melody Brightly and Jase Donnelly.
Jase and Melody’s story is packed full of heat, heart and humor and the themes of family and friendship flow throughout not only this title but the entire series. All of Alley Ciz’s titles and characters are interconnected and each time you pick up one of the BTU Alumni titles it feels like you are reconnecting with a group of old friends and catching up with all the events in their lives.
Jase is carefree, sweet, charming and romantic, but also quite unpredictable. He’s protective of those he cares for most, a successful NHL player, who is incredibly driven and determined, yet also quite vulnerable about his own self-worth.
Melody is a Broadway actress. She’s sassy, strong and opinioned but also quite private and reserved. She’s not used to the unconditional love and support that comes naturally to Jase’s family and friends.
The banter is witty, sarcastic and full of humorous one liners. The chemistry they share is undeniable and their story has it’s fair share of twists and turns, and secrets abound.
I look forward to reading the next title in the BTU Alumni series, and I’m particularly enjoying watching the growth and development of Alley Ciz as an author.
