I am a huge Sawyer Bennett fan. I know when I pick up one of her books it will be amazingly well written, with complex characters and an intriguing plot, this book was no exception. Sugar Daddy the first book in the 'Sugar Bowl' trilogy, and is full of drama, with twists and turns that keep you engaged from the start to finish. It is not only a romance, but also contains elements of suspense, mystery and angst and is a bit darker than I have come to expect from this author.
Sela is an incredible character, she is not only likable but complex and believable. Sela was gang raped at the age of sixteen by a group of College age men. Understandably the night haunts her and affects every facet of her life. They took away not only her innocence, but her self esteem, but any pleasure she would find with men.
After discovering the identity of one of her attackers, Sela endeavors to make them pay. She becomes a "Sugar Baby" to get gain access to her attacker to seek her revenge.
In the process of becoming a "Sugar Baby", Sela forms a relationship with Beckett 'Beck' North, who is the best friend and business partner of her attacker. Their connection is instant but as their relationship and feelings develop, things become complicated.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was the cliffhanger ending and having to wait for the next installment. I am dying to find out what happens next and cant wait for the next book in this trilogy.

“This book devastated me in the most wonderful way,” raves Meredith Wild. In Sugar Daddy, the New York Times bestselling author of the Cold Fury series proves that vengeance is sweet—but seduction is to die for.
Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.
The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.
Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!
