JAKE - POV (From Pieces Book One in the Riverdale Series)

 Bliss.

Having Cara in my arms after finally making her mine in every way possible was bliss. There was no other word to describe it and I’m still not sure that’s adequate enough. Silently, she traced the ink decorating my arms with her index finger. The girl who rambled when she was nervous, bolted when shit got to heavy—laid lax in my arms, smiling as she mindlessly touched me.

“What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” I questioned, feathering kisses along her shoulder.

“Mmm, I like that,” she purred softly.

Her voice was hoarse, a little breathless but fucking sexy, nonetheless. I ran my hands down her sides, pulling her back against me as I leaned down and flicked my tongue over her ear lobe.

“Yeah, what else do you like?”

I felt her body shudder as I gave her another stroke of my tongue, awakening her sated body. Pressing my erection against her, I let her know she wasn’t alone, that I was just as aroused. It didn’t matter we were coming down from just having one another, I wanted more and so did she. Maybe it was because we had a lot of time to make up for or maybe it was simply one taste wasn’t enough to satisfy either of us. Whatever the reason, I was sure I wouldn’t get my fill of Cara for a long time to come. Possibly never.

      “Jake,” she breathed.

I released my hold on her, rolling onto my side and pushed myself up so I could stare down at her. She was a sight, one I was sure I’d never forget. Not only would I not forget how she looked at that moment but years from now, when we’re old and gray and the good Lord is about to call me home it’s her face, this memory of her that I’ll see before I close my eyes.

“I asked you a question,” I rasped, quirking my lips slightly as I ran my fingers over her stomach and circled her belly button.

“Ask me again I was kind of distracted,” she pointed out, catching her lower lip between her teeth. My eyes wandered down to her legs as she snapped them shut and tried to control her arousal. She didn’t need to tame that beast anymore, not on my watch.

A wicked grin spread across my mouth as amusement flickered in my eyes and I nudged her legs apart.

“What else do you like?” I repeated, slowly dragging out each word, making sure she heard the question.

“I like when you kiss me,” she replied.

      Good.

I fucking loved kissing her too.

Bending my head, I touched my mouth to hers.

“Where do you want me to kiss you?”

My lips hovered over hers as my finger trailed down to her navel and my steel cock twitched with need against her leg. Her perfectly straight teeth went to work on that lip of hers and for a moment I was sure she would draw blood as she contemplated her answer. I let my finger slide between the lips of her pussy, watching as her eyes snapped open and bore into mine.

      “You still with me, Cara?”

“I’m here,” she croaked, releasing her swollen lip before her tongue glided over it soothing the ache her teeth left behind.

“Good,” I rasped, bending my head and taking her nipple into my mouth. She had the most perfect set of tits, not to big but enough to keep my hands full. My tongue flicked over the pert tip before my teeth latched on.

“Do you like it when I kiss you here?”

“Yes,” she squealed, pushing her fingers through my hair and tugging on the ends.

      She didn’t like it.

      She fucking loved it.

My lips curved as I released her nipple and spread my open mouth down her belly, drawing circles with my tongue over her skin.

      “What about here?”

“Jake,” she hissed as her hips bucked.

      “Yes, dear.”

My palms moved between her legs and I spread them wide, fitting myself between her legs as I inched further down. My legs hung off the bed as my mouth aligned with the sweetest part of her. I pressed a kiss to the inside of her thigh and then raised my eyes to her face.

“Where do you want my mouth?”

“You know where,” she replied, lifting her head and peering down at me.

“Don’t make me beg,” she pleaded, throwing her head back against the pillow as she arched her hips.
