Nitro is a bad-ass alpha, and Tristen is a strong female, both characters are quite endearing, they are survivors, damaged and tormented by their pasts. Their story is full of emotion, and deals with love, loss and heartbreak and making a choice to take a second chance at life and love.
This story is insta-lust, the connection between the lead characters develops at a slower pace. Although this is not my favorite of Ms Wilder's work, it is still very well written, engaging and entertaining read and I quite enjoyed the story line which has a good blend of suspense, intrigue, action and heat.
I found several of the secondary characters to be quite captivating, and look forward to reading their stories in the future. I will be eagerly anticipating more of Ms Wilder's work.
