I've adored each title in The New American Royals, if you are looking for a series, with strong themes of family, friendship and love look no further. Each title in this series is packed full of emotion, heat, heart and humor.
Loyal Subjects is Mark and Emmie's story. Mark Harrington is a family man, he's loyal, loving, caring, and protective, at times a tad too protective, although his heart is always in the right place. He's incredibly intelligent, determined and very patient when it comes to pursuing what he wants, in this case Emmie.
Emmie is a single parent, she's had a lifetime of loss and abandonment, and doesn't trust easily. She's a complex, yet endearing character, a survivor who is haunted by her past.
The chemistry this pair share is intense, and their connection is full of heat, and passion.
I've yet to be disappointed by Eva Charles, and look forward to the next title in The New American Royals series.
