Sofia Kendrick has always cherished her tiara. As the youngest daughter of a wealthy New York family, she’s lived the life of an American princess. But after two scandalous divorces and a breakup smear her name across the society rags, the shine from her crown has dulled. People call her superficial, even gaudy.
She’s nothing more than tinsel.
Desperate for escape and starving for peace, Sofia heads to Montana for a holiday weekend with her brother. But she doesn’t get the relaxing vacation she planned. Instead, she’s put to work in a bar alongside Dakota Magee—a man who does not want her help. A man who is set on teaching her a few lessons about real life and hard work. But Sofia has a couple of life lessons of her own to teach. Like how to fall in love.

I honestly went into Tinsel with a little hesitance, as I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to Sophia's character. I was a tad reticent, due to the fact she appeared to be a rich, spoiled, and pampered socialite in the previous titles and I wasn't really sure she was all that redeemable.
I really shouldn't doubt the talent that is Devney Perry. Sofia is a complex, enigmatic and intriguing character who worms her way into your heart. Behind the shallow, pampered princess who lives the life of luxury is a strong, resilient and vulnerable young woman, who has struggled to find her place in a family of over achievers.
Dakota is the type of hero you just can't help but fall for. He's hardworking, patient and honest, and whilst he respects his heritage, he's determined to forge his own path and follow his dreams.
This pair of characters share a powerful connection and chemistry. Whilst they come from different worlds, and may appear to be an unlikely pairing you soon see several qualities that they share, and they seem to always bring out the best in each other.
Dakota and Sofia's story is heartfelt, emotional and captivating and has the perfect blend of heat and angst to keep you completely enthralled.
I will be eagerly awaiting Ms Perry's next release, as she never disappoints.
