Unpredictable is the third title in the Love in LA series, but it was my first time reading Jenna Hartley’s work.  I can safely say it won’t be my last time reading her books.  From the very first chapter I was enthralled and I didn’t want to put this book down.  Despite the fact that I had no knowledge of the side characters, I was left intrigued and you can be sure I will be adding the previous titles to my tbr.

 

Juliana and Harrison’s story is an inspiring, emotional and engaging age gap romance, of finding love after loss. This pair of characters are haunted by their past,  they are incredibly complex, endearing and most of all complement each other perfectly.  The chemistry between this pair just oozes off the page, and the love scenes are hot and steamy.

 

Juliana is a resilient and strong heroine.   Despite the unimaginable tragedy that she has faced, she still strives to make others dreams come true as a wedding and party planner.

 

Harrison is a single father of an adult daughter, and former NFL player.  He’s mature, confident, sexy, loving and compassionate, and not afraid to go after what he wants.

 

I look forward to future additions to this series, and highly recommend this title to anyone who is a fan of contemporary romance.
