The Worst Guy is the second title in the Vital Signs series, but for anyone who is familiar with Kate Canterbary’s work the character of Sebastian Stremmel has made several appearances as a side character in previous books.  This entertaining and engaging title is a enemies to lovers, workplace romance.

Sebastian is a complex character.  He’s an arrogant, self-involved, gruff, egotistical surgeon, who seems to hate things for no good reason, but he’s also lonely, damaged, and vulnerable from events in his past.

Sara Shapiro has just as many facets as Stremmel with her own insecurities and vulnerabilities.  She can be kind, caring and compassionate, but around Sebastian she turns incredibly feisty and looses all sense of control.

The banter and interactions between this pair are not only humorous, but completely entertaining, and I loved seeing several familiar characters throughout including several of the Walshes, Nick, Cal, and Alex.  I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves the world of the Walsh family.

Nodding, nervously I licked my lips, and because we were so close, it meant my tongue flickered over his too.

He growled beneath his breath, and I whimpered as he took my mouth in a kiss so all-encompassing that he branded me with his truth.

Game Changer is the first title in the Las Vegas Vipers series, and after reading this title, I can’t wait for more.

Garrett and Lizzie are an endearing pair of characters, with a complicated relationship.

Garrett is the goalie for the Vipers, and a protective, caring and big-hearted hero, you can’t help but love.

Lizzie is sweet and loving despite some of her behaviours early in the book, that left me wondering if I would connect with her character. 

I shouldn’t have worried, as I loved the deep, lasting friendship this pair shares, and their chemistry is undeniably intense, and they manage to communicate well. 

I’d highly recommend this title is you enjoy a sports romance, hockey romance, or friends to lover’s romance with no unnecessary drama and a touch of angst.

Shelter takes readers back to not only the town of Cunningham Falls, but also the King Ranch.

Ever since reading Falling for Jillian, and Loving Cara, I’ve had a soft spot for Seth King, and I was incredibly eager to read his story and discover him all grown up.

Seth had a difficult childhood, until landing on his grandparent’s doorstep on the King Ranch, and much like the other male influences in his family he’s loyal, honest, and hardworking.

Remi is a former reality tv star, who is an adventurer at heart.  She’s independent, adventurous, and determined and trying to find a place to belong.

This pair both have troubled pasts, and I adored their connection and chemistry.

I highly recommend this title to anyone who enjoys a small town romance and in particular to fans of the Love Under the Big Sky series.

Fisher s the town sheriff, a tattooed hero with a heart of gold, who is possessive, protective, and struggles with the demons from his past.  Allie is a strong, resilient, determined nurse, who doesn’t easily give into Fisher’s demands without a fight.

 

Once again Ethel and Dori’s antics are sure to bring a smile to your face, and I loved the catching up with the other Greene siblings, and look forward to the next addition to the series.
