Charly has had a run of bad luck, that’s left her jobless and homeless. When she see’s Maxx’s add it’s an answer to her prayers.  She’s such a fun heroine.  Witty, feisty, and sassy, she has an innate ability to charm just about everyone she meets.  She’s strong and resilient, but also driven and determined, and knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to push Maxx’s buttons to get her own way.

Maxx’s life and garage are disorganized and he’s overwhelmed with work.  He’s aloof, gruff and growly, but underneath is a heart that’s been hurt and he struggles to trust outsiders.  He’s incredibly passionate about the things that matter to him most.

Despite their very different personalities this pair bring out the best in each other.  Their chemistry is immediate, and their banter is witty and fun.  I adored Charly’s quirky one liners that are sure to leave you with a smile upon your face, and there are plenty of moments that had me laughing out loud. Although his was my first time reading Melanie Moreland’s work, it’s sure to not be my last.

Layer by Layer is the first title in the Riggins Brothers series, featuring Sawyer and Royce.

This title is a heartwarming, office romance that features a hero and heroine, who are not only endearing but completely charming.  As I’ve come to expect with Kaylee Ryan’s work there is equal parts heat, heart and humor and Layer by Layer is a captivating and entertaining read.

Royce is the CEO of Riggins Enterprises, and he’s incredibly brooding and serious, and takes his role as head of the company very seriously.  The last thing he is looking for is a relationship after being burned by his ex.

Sawyer is a strong, resilient heroine, who is starting over.  She’s just started a new job, after leaving her old life behind, and the last thing she wants to do is put her job in jeopardy by becoming entangled with her boss.

The chemistry between this pair is undeniable and their banter is witty, fun and flirtatious.

I will be eagerly awaiting the rest of the Riggins Brothers books.

Read With Your Heart is the second title in the Heart Collection, but can easily be read as a standalone.   It’s been quite a while since I’ve read anything written by L.B. Dunbar, but I was intrigued by the synopsis and thoroughly enjoyed Leon and Tricia’s story.

Tricia Carter is a high school teacher doing her best to move on with her life, after separating from her husband.  She’s a witty, intelligent, kind and caring heroine and has a really big heart.

Leon is a tall, dark and handsome biker, who is intent on rebuilding his life.  He’s determined and driven to help his family after the mistakes of his past.

This pair have undeniable chemistry, and although they are opposites they are both doing their best to rebuild their lives, and move on from the mistakes of their past, in the small town of Elk Rapids.

I quite enjoyed this title and look forward to reading future additions to the Heart Collection.

I love a hockey romance, and Natasha Madison is one of my favorite sports romance writers, so I was incredibly eager to dive into her new series titled the Only One.

Only One Kiss features single dad Ralph, his adorable daughter Ariella, and Candace, the younger sister of Evan who was featured in This is Crazy.

Candace is a social media expert for athletes.  She’s intelligent, independent, kind, caring and has a really big heart.  She has one rule that she doesn’t date clients.

Ralph is sweet, and sexy and is hopeless when it comes to social media and self-promotion. 

This story is a sweet, sexy, emotional, and entertaining story with the heat and drama I’ve come to expect from Natasha’s writing.   The attraction this pair shares is immediate and their chemistry is undeniable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this title and the side characters were intriguing and left me eagerly awaiting the release of future additions to the Only One series.
