I love a good MC romance, and boy did Esther deliver. I fell for the boys of the Areion Fury MC when I read Zack, so I was already familiar with the characters of Nerd and Dams. I picked up this book and literally read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down.
Nerd (Priscilla) is much like all of the female heroines in Esther's books they are smart, stubborn, strong, loyal, and full of attitude. Nerd is definitely not afraid to get involved whether it be by gaining information electronically or getting blood on her hands she doesn't back down from a fight.
Dams (River) is a full on alpha male, used to being in control and having his demands followed without question. Once Dams decided Nerd was the one for him, there was no turning back. Every time she needed him, he was there to give her the support when she needed it. Their chemistry is pretty hot, and his dirty talking is thoroughly engaging.
Dams and Nerd have both been wounded by those who are supposed to love you the most and both have difficulty expressing their emotions and feelings. They share an intense connection and it's lovely to watch them flourish as their relationship develops.
I really enjoyed the inclusion of the Broken Deeds MC in this book, it only added to the story line, and I will be sure to go back and start that series as well. This book is fast paced, and full of drama. Such a great mix of romance, and suspense, I can't wait to read more of this series and see which biker will be next to find his happy ever after.
