River of Love is the thirty fourth book in the "Love In Bloom" series, fifteenth book in "The Braden's" Series and the third book in "The Braden's at Peaceful Harbor" by Melissa Foster.  As with any of Melissa's books this can be read as a standalone but trust me once you start this series you will be hooked.  I have been a fan of Melissa's since I read "Sister's in Love" the first of the "Love In Bloom" books and fell in love with Braden family when I read Treat and Max's story in "Lover's at Heart".  Be prepared to become addicted to the stories of this amazing, caring and loving family!  With each book, I think I have found my favorite, they just keep getting better.  

Sam is the proprietor of a rafting and adventure company with a well earned reputation of a fun loving ladies man with a bit of a commitment phobia. Sam is drawn to Faith from their very first meeting. Once he realizes that collecting notches to his bed post is loosing its appeal he begins to pursue Faith.  Sam is an enigma, a smooth talker with a reputation as a womanizing playboy, but also romantic, thoughtful, sweet and a generally nice person. When Sam decides he wants to get to know Faith and spend time with her he is full of determination and his actions show he is more than willing to work for Faiths attention and prove himself worthy of her love and trust.  He wants Faith to get to know the real Sam, rather than the womanizing persona that he has perpetuated since he was a teen.

Faith is serious, reserved, classy, honest and smart.  She dates boring men who are nice, reliable, smart, honest and the absolute antithesis of Sam who has women eating from the palm of his hand.  Faith has been hurt in the past, by a cheating boyfriend and as a result formed an online support forum 'WAC' Women Against Cheaters. Even though Faith is attracted to Sam she doesn't want to risk her heart.  Their undeniable chemistry builds and sparks fly with Sam working to thaw Faith's resolve to not get involved. 

Faith's best friend, Vivian is such a fun character, she has also been hurt by a cheating ex and encourages Faith to keep away from Sam. She is bold and tends to say what she thinks, which creates a humorous and engaging banter between Faith and Vivian.  I hope we get to read how she finds her happy ever after. 

As this was my first book in the "Braden's of Peacful Harbor" I loved reading about the six siblings  that make up the Braden family, they share a special bond and closeness.  I can't wait to read more of their stories.

I loved "River Of Love" its a lovely contemporary romance, the character are realistic and so enjoyable to read, I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting.  Those who have read previous books in the series will recognize the mention of members of both the Trusty and Colorado Bradens.
