Officially Over It - Lani Lynn Vale

Officially Over It

Lani Lynn Vale

Release Date: October 13, 2020

Going from a professional baseball player to a SWAT officer should’ve been seamless. Should have been.

But it wasn’t.

All it took was one single calendar shoot for word to spread that Nathan Cox was not only no longer playing professional baseball, but he was also the man behind saving the life of Reggie Morton, the City of Kilgore’s princess.

***

Reggie didn’t know that by agreeing to provide the expertise and the know-how for the Police Officer’s Ball that she would be required to actually attend the function.

What she also didn’t expect was needing to be saved—again—by the same man that had saved her life a year ago when she hosted her debut event.

This time in a not-nearly-as-spectacular way. The moment she falls into his arms like a modern-day Cinderella and takes him in in all his three-piece suited glory, she realizes that she’s been fighting the impossible.

Nathan Cox owns her. Body and soul.

Officially Over It is the tenth title in the Swat Generation 2.0 series and features Nathan Cox and Reggie Morton.  Both Reggie and Nathan appeared in their parents books as children.  Reggie’s parents are Hannah Morton and Travis Hail who featured in Go to Hail, in the Hail Raisers series. Nathan’s parents are Wolf and Raven who featured in Rusty Nail in The Uncertain Saints MC.

Reggie and Nathan grew up as childhood companions, competitors and adversaries.  They’ve always pushed each other, and fought to hide their true feelings from each other.

Nathan is private, loyal, intelligent and protective.  He’s a former professional baseball player, turned Swat officer.

Reggie is a sassy, snarky and sweet.  She’s strong, loyal and protective, but also an introvert at heart, and a neonatal nurse.

The banter this pair shares is antagonistic, teasing, and witty, and the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Officially Over It is a suspenseful story told from dual point of view, with twists and turns a plenty and moments of humor that will have you laughing out loud.  A story of family, friendship and love.

I will be eagerly awaiting the next title in the series.
