The Chase is Over is the fifth title in the Nashville Assassins: Next Generation featuring Shelli Adler and Aiden Brooks.  If you are familiar with this series Shelli and Aiden had their story told in Dump and Chase and this title feels more like and extended epilogue and the conclusion to their happy ever after.

Shelli is a perfectionist and loves the limelight almost as much as she loves Aiden so you know her wedding is going to be over the top, but it’s also beautiful and heartfelt.

There were a few twists and turns, but overall this is a title that is very enjoyable and is sure to leave you with a smile upon your face.

This title is a story of family, friendship and love and if you’re like me and have read every title in the Assassins world, you will love the cameos from so many favorite characters from the past.  I look forward to seeing what Toni Aleo comes up with next.
