That awkward moment when
you insult the boss on your first day on the job.
Yeah, that just happened.
In my defense, if I’d known it was Connor Colby of the Colby’s Chocolates and
Candies empire standing by the display dressed in a candy cane-striped suit, I
never would have opened my mouth to tell him that their signature chocolate bar
sucked.
How was I supposed to know he was the boss man?
He was in town temporarily to help save his father’s company.
I was only there for a payday to jump start my art career.
I had one job—help him come up with a rock solid marketing plan.
The task included long nights and late dinners working by Connor’s side.
It did not include kisses, sex in the supply closet, or … worst yet, falling in
love.
Why is that so bad you ask?
Because the man is leaving right after our mission is complete. Job done.
Finito.

Sweet Love
is a sweet and fun office romance. The
meet cute between Charli and Connor starts this story off with a bang, when the
heroine unwittingly insults her new boss.
Both charli
and Connor have struggled with family drama, and their romance has its fair
share of ups and downs. Charli is a likeable
character looking for love and acceptance after a great loss and not really knowing
where she fits in her new world.
Connor is
sexy, handsome hero who’s time is running out save his family’s business, when
the answer drops into his lap.
With strong
themes of family and friendship this title has equal parts heat, heart and
humor. The dialogue and banter is witty,
and flirty and I was captivated by the secondary characters, and hope we get
their stories at some point in the future.
