Heated Ride is the story of Ruben 'Ruby' Castillo and Jenna 'Vida' Natera de Castillo. Their story isn't the romance you've come to expect in this series. Ruby and Jenna are already married with three young children.
Ruby and Jenna share a deep love, but Jenna becomes lost in everyday struggles and motherhood. Their relationship struggles when Ruby fails to communicate what he wants and needs from their relationship, which causes their connection as a couple to break down.
The heart of the Hellions MC is family and it takes certain set of circumstances for Ruby to realize family and brotherhood are everything, and make your life worth living. Relationships require selflessness, and meeting the other persons needs as much as your own, a tough realization for this pair.
This book is the reality of so many couples, which makes their story so realistic and relate-able. The characters are complex, like-able and endearing and there were times when I wanted to smack both of them but in particular Ruby. Love, affection and communication can't be taken for granted in any relationship. I really loved this story and cannot wait to read the final volumes in the Hellions MC series.
