Kadence is the seventh title in the Rockstar series. Jace Warner the hero of this read, has been a favorite character of mine from quite early in the series, so I was quite excited to read his story.
This book is emotional, it's both heartbreaking and heartwarming. It's a really lovely read told from several points of view.
This book centers around Jace, Summer and his young daughter Kadence. There is heat and heart, but also elements of humor that i've come to expect from Ms. Mercier's writing style. It's a well written, well paced, entertaining story that flows really well even with the multiple points of view throughout the book.
These characters are complex, endearing and like-able. They aren't your typical rockstars in a lot of ways, they are a family and incredibly loyal and caring. If you are looking for a different spin on a rocker series, this is the series for you. I can't wait for the next installment of the rockstar series, and see who's story is next.
