Come Closer is a unique story, and vastly different to anything Ms Rothert has written in the past. Daniel and Alison's story is an emotional read full of mystery, intrigue and suspense, with twists and turns that you will not anticipate.
Dr Daniel Delgado is a caring and compassionate and an overall good guy. Alison Cole is grief stricken, after suffering an incredible loss. A special connection forms between the hero and heroine, from an unlikely friendship and mutual respect, which is much more than a patient and doctor relationship.
This pair of characters are both broken and damaged individuals who not only find solace within each other, but healing and love within the other's arms. Daniel and Alison are survivor, both enigmatic, endearing and like-able.
Come Closer is a well written and well paced read told in a dual point of view. I was completely captivated by this story and read it in one sitting. I have no hesitation in recommending Come Closer, to not only fans of Ms Rothert, but fans of romantic suspense and stories of intrigue.
