Title - Trigger: A Circle of Justice Novel
Author - LP Dover
Genre - Romantic Suspense Standalone
A killer . . . that’s what I am.
It’s what I do.
It’s what I live for.
I’m no longer the Preston Hale everyone knew. I left that life and the people in it a long time ago the second I made my first kill. I wasn’t going to give in, but when I heard the screams there was no going back.
It triggered the pain, the need.
I knew what I had to do, and I did it well. But I never expected for Emma Turner – the only link to my past – to come back into my life.
She triggers a different emotion inside me, something I hadn’t ever felt.
It’s not a want to kill . . . but a need to CLAIM.

Trigger is the first title in the Circle of Justice series and revolves around Preston Hale's quest for vengeance. Although this is a romantic suspense, it also has elements of a second chance romance.
Preston is one brooding bad-ass. He's a very cold, closed off character. He has a dark past that haunts his every choice and actions. Preston's character is very complex with hidden layers, that evolve as the story unfolds.
Emma Turner and Preston share a past, and they become re-acquainted by their mutual employer. Emma is smart, sweet, sassy, creative, and up for a challenge. She is such a strong heroine, incredibly stubborn and doesn't take crap from anyone.
Trigger is full of twists and turns, intrigue, mystery and suspense. This book is incredibly well written, and had my attention right from the very beginning and held me captivated right to the very end. Trigger is well paced, and completely entertaining and I look forward to the next title in this series.
