Coal is the third title in the Regulators MC series, and the first title in this series that I have read.
Paisley Asher the heroine is a unique and quirky character. A bit of a hippy, mother earth type she is strong and true to herself, although she's a bit difficult to relate to she is incredibly endearing.
Trevor Blake aka Coal is an bad-ass, alpha bearded biker, the VP of the Regulators MC he isolates himself from everyone around him. He doesn't trust easily, and has a darkness that surrounds him, but really he's a good guy.
This book has everything you want in a MC Romance/Romantic Suspense. There is drama, action, violence, and heat along with romance, intrigue and suspense. Something I didn't expect but quite enjoyed was the few laughs that I had whilst reading Paisley and Coal's story. As the content of this book is slightly darker, the moments of laughter balance that out.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of opposites attracting and recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the MC romance genre. I know I will be keeping my eye out for future books by this pair of authors and also reading the previous titles in this series.
