4 Stars

Fletcher and Jessica's story continues with Playing to Win, the second title in the 'A Beautiful Game' series, and sequel to Playing to Win.

As Playing to Win ends in a major cliffhanger, it really needs to be read prior to reading Playing to Win.  This title picks up where the first book left off.

Playing to Win is an emotional read, with a story line that revolves around domestic violence.  The focus of the story line may be difficult for some people to read, or not be to their tastes.  I will say that Ms Frances, has done a wonderful job and written an amazing story about such a sensitive subject matter.  The characters are flawed and damaged, yet incredibly strong, resilient and endearing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this title and found it to be very engaging, in particular I loved the epilogue.  I look forward to reading more of Ms Frances work in the future.
