Kaylee Ryan has done it again with I Just Want You, a sweet, sexy, well written and captivating romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, a slightly taboo romance between the boss and his employee.
Crew and Berklee are complex, endearing and dynamic characters. Crew is your perfect alpha, focused, driven, determined, possessive, protective, caring and loving. Berklee is sweet, flirty, stubborn, smart and passionate.
I was drawn into their story from the get go, and read this book in one sitting. I found it to be very entertaining and engaging. I loved the slow build up of tension, and the connection and chemistry shared between the hero and heroine. Their dialogue and banter was a great blend of fun, flirty and dirty. I loved the friendships and family connections with the side characters, and hop we see some of their stories in the future.
Although not my favorite of Ms Ryan's books it is still a great read and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a contemporary romance.
