Southern Attraction is the third title in the Southern Heat series and features Jamie and Mike. This pair of characters both appeared in the previous title in the series Southern Desire.
I adored this book, the connection between this pair is realistic and undeniable. Jamie and Mike's story is unique in the fact that it has elements of being an insta-love, but it's also a slow burn. Jamie and Mike have an instant attraction and chemistry that continues to build, despite time and distance apart. Southern Attraction is a well written, captivating, and engaging emotional journey of following your heart, and that love can overcome all obstacles.
This pair of character are incredibly endearing. Love a country boy, who is 100% a Southern gentleman, look no further than Mike. He's that perfect book boyfriend a wonderful blend of sweet, kind, playful and fun who is also an alpha through and through. whilst Mike is a country boy through and through, Jamie is a city girl, who has a big heart. She's passionate and determined to reach her career goals. Strong, yet sweet, loyal, and confident she's a really appealing character.
I adored every moment of this emotion filled read, and loved seeing the previous characters appear throughout the story line. Every time I pick up a Kaylee Ryan book I go in knowing it will be well written, and completely captivating. I will be eagerly anticipating more from Kaylee, as she has yet to dissapoint me, and become one of my automatic one click authors.
