Ever since discovering the Jensen brothers in Skid Row Kings, I've eagerly awaited Frankie's story and it didn't disappoint. Holeshot is an emotion filled, dramatic, slow burn romance,
Frankie is intelligent, feisty, driven, sassy, strong and stubborn. Being a female working in a predominantly male field is not easy and Frankie works twice as hard to prove her worth. She has a fiery temper, but is incredibly spunky, loving and loyal.
Brooks Cummings is a sexy drag racer, who comes across as being quite used to getting what he wants, until you delve below the surface. This pair are a match made in heaven, they are both incredibly driven, dedicated and stubborn.
I adored the interactions between this pair their banter is fun, flirtatious sassy and argumentative. So many times I found myself laughing out loud at the humor I find synonymous with Winter's work.
The chemistry this par share is intense and quite palpable.
I loved that we get a glimpse in tot he lives of the older Jensen siblings, and cannot wait for the next title in this series.
Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and the place they now call home.
