Don't be fooled by the fact that this title is a novella.  Avery and Deck's story is packed full of emotion and angst.  This second chance romance is sexy, steamy and completely sensual. 

Avery and Deck are complex, dynamic and endearing characters.  Avery is fun, feisty, sassy, intelligent and bears a broken heart.  She's a sports presenter who has worked incredibly hard to be taken seriously in a predominantly male world.  Deck is a former NBL star, who had cocky traits as a younger man, but with age and experience he's matured into a kind, sensitive, intelligent and patient man, who isn't afraid to go after what he wants. 

The banter between this pair is witty and engaging, and delving back into Kennedy's Hoops world, has made me all the more eager for Hook Shot!
