Hoax knows two things very well.

My Bad is the fourth title in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series. This title is a bit different to the previous titles in the series, as it focusses more on Hoax’s military lifestyle, rather than his life as part of the Bear Bottom Guardians. This title has a strong themes of family, friendship and loyalty. Like all of Lani’s works it has equal parts heat, heart, humor, action and suspense.
Hoax is a military man, he’s protective, strong, patient, determined and protective. When he wants something, he puts his all into getting what he wants.
Pru is a nurse, and she’s not interested in a military man, after being burned in the past. She’s my kind of heroine, feisty, strong, sassy, sarcastic and intelligent and fights for what she believes in.
I loved that this pair challenge each other, and that Pru makes Hoax work for her affection and attention. Their story is sweet, yet passionate and their interaction and banter are fun and flirty.
I love how Lani interconnects all her titles. Those familiar with the Freebirds series, will see quite a few familiar favorites in this title and I cannot wait for Pru’s siblings and the other members of the Bear Bottom Guardians to find their happy ever after.
