Blaze is the fourth title in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series featuring the younger generation of Gallo’s.  This title features Lily Gallo and Jet Michaels.  It’s a sweet yet, hot and steamy opposites attract, friends to lovers romance.

Lily and Jet’s story is a slow burn, and it fits her character.  She’s quite reserved and naïve in comparison to her Gallo cousins.  She’s sweet, yet shy but has quite a quirky and nerdy demeanour.  I enjoyed seeing her evolve and her confidence grow over the course of the book.

Jet is sexy and sure of himself, they’ve known each other since they were children and he has  well deserved reputation as a ladies man.   He’s just discharged from the Navy, and this alpha isn’t afraid to go after what he wants.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter and dialogue throughout this title, there were quite a few moments of humour that had me laughing out loud.   I found this pair relatable with their doubts and vulnerabilities not only when it came to themselves, but each other.

I’ve got to say this was probably my favourite title of this generation of Gallo’s and I loved that so many of the Gallo family made an appearance throughout this title.  I will be eagerly awaiting the next instalment to this series, particularly after the way this title ended.
