Reaper is the fourth title in the Kings of Corruption series. I have read the first title in this series, and it features the characters that the story line follows, so I in no way felt lost. I would recommend having read Ryker, prior to reading Reaper and Anna's story.
Reaper features a pair of incredibly complex characters, who have a lot going on beneath the surface. They both have heartbreaking tales that has molded them into their broken and damaged personalities. Anna and Reaper both appear to have quite unlike-able personality traits, they were both far from perfect, but that makes them all the more endearing. Whilst Reaper is a bit of an ass most of the time, and you feel compelled to smack him upside the head, Anna is trouble, but she's a survivor and much stronger than you would think, considering her volatile past with the Kings of Corruption.
This is a story of betrayal, regret and redemption. Both Anna and Reaper have a past full of secrets and lies that derailed their lives, they both need to decide if they can put their pasts behind them and look forward, in order to find a happy ever after.
Their story pulled me in from the very first page and I was enthralled. I read Reaper in one sitting and couldn't put it down. It's a fabulous enemies to lovers romance, that is incredibly well written and well worth the wait for fans of Geri Glenn. I eagerly anticipate the next title in this series.
