Destiny Laughs is the first title in the Santini series, a novella length read featuring a endearing set of characters, widowed, single father Nash and his love interest Farrah.
Nash is a sweet, sexy, single father intent on putting all his focus into raising his son. He puts relationship on the back burner until he meets Farrah, what results is a sweet, fun, emotional story full of heat, heart and steam.
The chemistry and connection is undeniable and quite intense despite their relationship being quite brief. I adored the budding friendship between Farrah and Nash's young son Max.
With banter that is fun, flirty and at times quite humorous, this may have been my first time reading Leslie Pike, but it will not be my last.
