Ditched features a pair of complex, endearing character in Beckett Jones and Ivy Hayes.
Beckett may be an NHL quarterback but he’s down to earth, humble, kind and caring. If you like a swoon worthy hero, look no further. He’s also very patient and perseveres when Ivy tries to do her best to keep him at arm’s length.
Ivy is sassy, snarky, smart and a loner. She had a childhood she’s trying desperately to leave in the past. She doesn’t believe in relationships and the premise of her business is to break up relationships amicably.
This story is packed full of heat, heart and steam. With witty, fun, and flirtatious banter and dialogue I found myself captivated with their tale. The intense chemistry combined with secrets, surprises, and twists and turns I didn’t see coming made for an engaging and entertaining read.
The side characters were quite fun, and I hope that in the future we get to see them feature in their own titles.
Once again Ms Boldt did not disappoint, and I will be eagerly awaiting the release of future titles.
RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you’re in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can’t recall the lyrics to a particular 80’s song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she’s your girl.
