I Dare You is a sweet, fun,
new adult contemporary romance, with just the right amount of angst.
Although the synopsis isn’t the best fit for the story, don’t let that
deter you.
Maverick may be a charming, cocky, alpha football player, but he
doesn’t fit the muscle bound, womanising football player stereotype. He’s
intelligent, caring, loving, loyal and above all will do anything for those he
holds near and dear.
Delaney is such a fun character. She’s may be quirky, nerdy
and your ultimate geek, but she’s also fierce, loyal and witty.
This pair of characters are incredibly endearing and adorable
together, but not sickly sweet. They share an amazing chemistry that just
oozes off the page. Their story is playful and full of heat, heart and
humour. What really drew me in was their banter that is fun, flirtatious, witty
and full of humour and takes place both in person and via text.
I will be eagerly awaiting future titles in The Hook Up series, as
this was such a fun and easy, light hearted read.
