His Lady is Rainn, and Mannix's story, and the fourth title in The Wounded Souls Series. If you haven't read the previous titles I'd highly recommend doing so before reading His Lady, as there are some major reveals in this book that will spoil the anticipation, intrigue and suspense from the previous titles.
In his past Mannix was betrayed in the worst way possible, and it's left him vulnerable and hurting. He doesn't let anyone get too close, keeping others at arms length, to the extent of his own happiness. He's a complete alpha and likes to take charge. Rainn is his perfect match, she's no wilting wall flower, strong, independent, and has a fiery temper to match her red hair.
The friendship, connection and chemistry this pair share is deep, intense and loving. That's not to say it's a walk in the park, they certainly face their fair share of challenges and both are incredibly stubborn and strong willed.
There are quite a few twists and turns, and events that I didn't anticipate in this title. Leah's writing continues to develop and improve with each addition to the series, and I look forward to reading future releases in The Wounded Souls Series.
I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.
I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.
I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.
I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
