I've yet to read anything written by Addison Jane, that I haven't loved. After being introduced to The Exiled Eight MC in Meyah's story I was intrigued and couldn't wait to see more of them.
The hero of this title is a badass alpha who is incredibly loyal and proud of his association with The Exiled Eight MC. He has a tendency to come across as a bit of an ass, but beneath his rough, and gruff exterior hides a bruised and beaten heart of gold.
The heroine is strong, sassy, capable and loyal. She's faced her fair share of adversity in her life, but it doesn't hold her back from speaking her mind, but also keeps her heart carefully guarded against further hurt.
The banter between this pair is full of fun, flirtatious and argumentative one liners. The chemistry oozes between this pair right from the very beginning and their bickering and verbal sparring is a form of verbal foreplay. The pair are incredibly volatile, but also very passionate.
This enemies to lovers story is full of twists and turns aplenty. It's a raw and gritty tale, with drama, danger, action, intrigue and suspense that I've come to expect from Addison Jane.
I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves Addison's Brothers By Blood MC, or loves a title with equal parts heat, heart and humor. I will be eagerly awaiting the next addition to this series, and cannot wait to see more of The Exiled Eight MC.
