The thinker.
The listener.
He watches his life pass by as an outsider in his own world, absent and alone.
Lost.
Until he finds her.
For Leo, Mia Kovรกcs is like a prize, a gift wrapped in passion and devotion.
And she’s his—his very own secret he doesn’t have to share.

heartache and destruction, guilt and regret.
Mia gives Leo everything he didn’t know he needed,
including her fragile heart.
The only thing she doesn’t give him...

Leo is the third title in the Preston series,
and much like the previous books Lucas and Logan it’s a phenomenal story of
friendship and family.
This title takes you through a gamut of emotions. Whilst it’s an angst ridden and heartbreaking
story, it’s also completely heartwarming.
I had feelings of anger, sadness, but also joy. Whilst I’m not ashamed to admit it bought
tears to my eyes, there were also moments when I had the biggest smile upon my
face. Leo and Mia’s story will break
your heart, before they put it back together again.
Leo is the shy, quiet and reserved Preston
brother. He takes in everything around
him and absorbs it at his own pace. He’s
quite a gentle soul, who is incredibly loyal, loving and kind.
Mia is the daughter of Virginia (the Preston’s nanny),
who has little regard her daughter. Whilst
she’s shy, insecure and vulnerable, she is also incredibly strong, and brave.
Both these characters are flawed, but it only
makes them more realistic and believable.
Their story is a slow burn, friends to lovers romance that spans multiple
years. Their story is full of twists and
turns, and they have their fair share of hurdles to overcome individually and
as a pair before they can find a happy ever after, but fate keeps putting them
in each other’s path.
I highly recommend this title, it’s not a short
read, but I was completely captivated and enthralled from start to finish. I
honestly don’t give many books five stars and Leo deserves all the stars, it’s
one of my top reads of 2020 so far!
