Desperate Times is the second title in the Silver Ridge series.  After the ending of the Backup Plan I was eagerly awaiting the conclusion to Chloe and Sam’s story.  Sam is left conflicted after the revelations relating to his past in the Backup Plan, and Chloe is just as awkward, yet endearing.

Their chemistry and connection is undeniable despite the secret that lies between them.  An engaging read with equal parts heat, heart and humor.
