Calculated Risk is the fifth title in the Blackbridge Security series featuring Quinten Lake and Hayden Prescott.   This title is a sexy, slow burn, opposites attract romantic suspense.

Quinten is a crisis management consultant and used to solving problems.  When he’s called to teach a gun safety class he’s less than enthusiastic.  He’s a brooding, tattooed, sexy alpha with protective tendencies, who is also caring, respectful and patient.

Hayden is feisty and sassy, but also quite anxious and struggles with who to trust, after being the victim of a home invasion.  She’s quite reluctant to learn how to use a firearm but is determined to regain control of her life.

This pair have quite a rocky start, but the chemistry and pull between them is undeniable, and the love scenes are passionate and intimate.

Overall an engaging story of friendship, betrayal, revenge and love with twists and turns that kept me engaged and I look forward to the next addition to the series.
