My new co-worker… not a
fan.
Well, I do like the way
he looks, the way he moves, and the way his forearms flex when he rolls the
sleeves of his dress shirt up. But I hate how much pleasure he takes when he
makes fun of me for using a matchmaker.
I’ve always gone after
what I want. Why should love be any different?
After I find a letter
in my apartment that foretells me falling for someone, our banter turns into
kissing which turns into more and soon, we find ourselves hiding our work
affair from our boss and co-workers.
What could be worse
than having to pretend you don’t love the man you pass multiple times in the
hallway every day? Finding out you’re competing with him for the promotion
you’ve both wanted your entire careers and knowing that neither one of you will
back down.

Good on Paper is the third and final title in
the Love in Apartment 3B series, featuring Marlowe and Isaac. Their romance is an enemies to lovers, office
romance.
Marlowe is a romantic at heart who is desperate
to find her happy ever after, especially after her two best friends have found
love. Isaac and Marlowe have more in common
than they’d like. Both are hardworking,
competitive, driven and determined. Their
banter is witty, fun, flirtatious, and quite often antagonistic and the sexual
tension between this pair oozes from the page.
Overall an engaging and entertaining read and
I look forward to reading more of Everly Ashton’s work in the future.
