His Sweetness is the first title in The Wounded Souls MC series, and it's Leah Sharelle's first published title. His Sweetness features single father Deck, and Charlie the woman he wishes to make his own.
Deck is an alpha to the core. He knows what he wants, and nothing will stand in his way. For me Shiloh Deck's rambunctious young daughter stole the show. She's incredibly adorable, in spite of her ability to swear like a sailor and endeavoring to emulate her father's MC brothers. Deck is loyal, caring, and will do anything to protect those he holds dear. Although he's incredibly devoted to both Charlie and Shiloh, he can be a bit obtuse at times.
Charlie is sweet, innocent, kind hearted and kind of shy. As she becomes more familiar with the MC and it's members her sassy and fierce side evolves.
The chemistry and attraction between this pair is instantaneous and quite palpable, and just oozes off the page. The banter is fun, flirtatious and has moments of humor sprinkled throughout.
This title is packed full of intrigue, mystery, suspense, and heat. The twists and turns in the plot, will keep you guessing and you're left with quite a few questions left unanswered. This was a great first title, and I look forward to seeing where the series heads next!
I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy. I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.
I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.
I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
